About the Forest Lake Alano Society (FLAS)
The Forest Lake Alano Society (FLAS) is a 501(c) charitable organization that owns and operates the house that is home for the 156 Club recovery meetings. FLAS membership is open to any 156 Club attendee in recovery for a minimum contribution of $60 per year ($5/month). It is administered by a 9-member Board of Directors elected by FLAS members from within the membership. Each Board member is elected to serve a 3 year term. Officers of the Board are elected by the Board members for 1 year, non-consecutive roles within the Board. Board meetings are open to all 156 Club attendees monthly at 7pm on the last Tuesday
156 Club/FLAS is financed by the donations you make at your AA Squad meetings as the “rent” for the use of the Club for your meetings. The 156 Club is a safe and encouraging place for 12 Step meetings and those in need of support for addiction recovery.
